Today his revolutionary new program, The Mark of a Leader, is inspiring corporate workforces across North America to improved performance. The Mark of a Leader brings inspiring stories from the world’s greatest leaders, teams, and brands to the conference industry.

Using a pioneering technique called Digital Storytelling, The Mark of a Leader uses a live narrator with video and original music to inspire audiences and offer meeting planners a completely new approach to agenda structure and traditional motivational speakers. It also offers an ongoing communication program to drive the messages and impact over time.

John Chappelear

ChappelearJohn Chappelear is an organizational consultant, author and professional speaker. He has over 25 years of experience as an executive and entrepreneur, starting his first company in the Washington, DC area at the age of 30. 

In 1979, John opened his first business, The Stationers Inc. an office products company, and in 1986 founded Corporate Interiors Inc, an interior design and office furniture company. These two companies grew from a staff of two to over 250, with sales in excess of 50 million dollars per year.

John’s book The Daily Six helps both individuals and organizations become healthier and more productive. The Daily Six won “Best Book Award in 2005”  from USA Book News. 

The Daily Six talk moves beyond the usual "motivational speech”. John discusses the struggles we all face today in trying to create balance for our over extended and over committed lives. John has developed his six simple, seamless steps for attaining greater peace of mind and for developing and setting priorities for work, family, community and self. John connects with and involves the audience with a warm and self-deprecating humor and personal heartfelt stories. John also encourages the audience to examine their lives, change their focus, and to stop waiting for life to get perfect to be happy.
