To Help Provide the Gift of a Guide Dog to The Visually Impaired

2010 SEC (Bonita Springs, FL) – Imagine what your day would be like without the gift of sight and the challenges that the simplest of things would present.  Now imagine the difference a gift of a guide dog would make would make in the life of a visually impaired person, guiding them through even the most mundane tasks.

pcf-goldboxThe Tampa Bay Area Chapter of Meeting Professionals International is helping to make that a reality, by partnering with Toffee To Go owner, and MPI member, Lisa Schalk to raise funds for Southeastern Guide Dogs,  this year’s charity for the 2010 Southeast Educational Conference, presented by the Florida Chapters of MPI  August 19-21.

Toffee To Go will generously donate a portion of the proceeds from the sales of specific toffee gifts, now through March, at Tampa Bay Area MPI Chapter events and on their website at www.toffeetogo.com.

For the purchase of every 8 oz. gold bow box, Toffee to Go will donate $3.00 per box and for every purchase of a 12 oz. or 24 oz. tin, they will donate $4.00 and $9.00 respectively to the Southeastern Guide Dogs.

website2010 SEC (Bonita Springs, FL) - The MPI SEC announced today that the main conference website is now live. You can visit the website by clicking this link www.mpisec.com .  The website will continue to be updated as speakers, events and tradeshow information is finalized. You can register for the conference, review the host hotel and search other important information for the 2010 DEC.

"The site was designed for not only conference messaging and theme, but for functionality to enhance the users experience. With this balance we created a website that will offer ease of navigation, more information on events and overall value to our sponsors. The strategic use of our social networking and site integration helps us reach out beyond our MPI circle. This will help us reach out to non-member meeting planners", says Kory Butler, Marketing Chair for the SEC 2010.
